Management Systems

COST CONTROL
FM Projects Australia makes use of computerised management systems to aid in cost accounting and control. Jobpac and Databuild are used to record, monitor and report on all project costs. The system is accrual based and allows for fast and effective project cost analysis including accurate up-to date reporting of actual and projected costs.

TIME & PROGRAM CONTROL
All project programming is carried out by using Microsoft Project.

The system provides assistance in the planning and scheduling of resources and activities, and is used to produce bar chart programmes for reporting and target programmes for incorporation into the subcontract agreements.

The objective of the company is to supply high value services that provide effective construction solutions that are easily implemented to produce the desired quality outcomes in accordance with customer requirements and specifications. Our customers expect optimum value for money services delivered on time to high standards of quality. To achieve these objectives and satisfy customer expectations, the company is totally committed to implementing and maintaining a Quality Management System third party accredited to ISO 9001.

Potential quality problems are to be identified and solved economically with speed and technical efficiency. We shall focus our resources, both technical and human, on quality to satisfy the cooperation and involvement of all team members at all levels. Our commitment to quality will ensure the continued success of our company and the satisfaction of customers and staff.

The company QA representatives are authorised to ensure that the requirements of this Quality System are implemented. Any problems that cannot be resolved between team members shall be brought to our attention for further rectification.

FM Projects Australia acknowledges and accepts its responsibility to provide a safe and healthy workplace for all employees, clients, subcontractors, visitors and members of the public. The policy reflects a genuine commitment to ensuring that the highest practicable safety standards are met, and continuously reviewed, in all activities relating to our business.

Compliance with occupational health and safety legislation and regulations in the relevant state or territory is mandatory at all times. Furthermore, this approach is part of the way in which FM Projects Australia does business.

In order to achieve this FM Projects Australia will ensure that adequate resources are provided to fulfil this commitment, and will support actions that identify and eliminate unsafe work practices and conditions in our workplaces. Furthermore FM Projects Australia will maintain records and regularly review its performance in regard to this commitment and our third party accreditation to AS/NZS 4801.


ENVIRONMENT POLICY
FM Projects Australia has a commitment to protecting the environment through implementing our management system in compliance with ISO 9001.

Our company carefully plans each of our company operations including all projects activities so as to minimise the potential for impact on the environment. Our processes have been analysed and risks and hazards are assessed for each of our projects. Appropriate training and resources are provided to our workforce to ensure these policies and procedures are effectively implemented and that adequate controls and measures are taken.

To this end special attention is afforded to client and authority requirements complete with precautions to ensure appropriate measures are placed within and outside of our immediate project site area to safeguard against our construction and tree surgery activities. These controls and measures extend to our subcontractors and suppliers. Emergency procedures and predetermined in accordance with the environmental risks and hazards identified. Waste is minimised and disposed of in approved manner for each project.
